Are these presentations video-tapped for online distribution?
If no, what is stopping you? "The Refresh Pittsburgh Podcast" has quite a ring to it.

Worldwide access can be used to generate revenue and will definitely provide exposure for our city.

Thanks for the comments.

I'm planning on posting the meeting notes this weekend. It's second on the list.. right after "fix the formatting of comments on the refresh blog" :)

I was happy that folks braved the heat to come out last night. It seems Refresh now has some momentum going and I hope to be able to grow on it...

It was a good meeting! I'm looking forward to playing with the forms and the definition lists. If you could post Val's presentation and examples, that would be helpful.

I'm also looking forward to seeing more of CastGrabber. I have an Apple-formatted iPod so it seems it won't work for me, but PC users could benefit nicely.

I'm so glad to see that this organization is getting off the ground. I got involved early, but when things picked up again this summer, I was out of the state. I think that I should be able to make this meeting and meet all the new people.

I've got some ideas for some presentations based on my experience this summer working at Yahoo!, so perhaps you'll hear me speaking sometime soon :)

It's a little bit of a drive coming from CMU - so if anybody needs a ride, shoot me an email paul[at]zpao.com and we'll (try to) make it happen.

I wanted to also leave a copy of the E-Mail that we sent out to our newsletter. (If you haven't subscribed, please so so you can keep up on all grup communications.)

Howdy! You are receiving this message because you once subscribed to the Refresh Pittsburgh mailing list.

We're writing to let you know that Refresh Pittsburgh is off to a new start in Pittsburgh!

The goal of Refresh Pittsburgh is to create a open community of designers and developers working to refresh the creative, technical, and professional culture of Internet developers in the Pittsburgh area. Whether you are a web developer, flash guru, programming wizard, graphic designer, project manager extraordinaire or just want to learn more and share ideas with like-minded people, we want you to be a part of our group.

To get things started, we are holding an informal meet & greet at the Craig St. Kiva Han in Oakland on Wednesday, May 30th at 7:00. We would like to share our ideas and plans about Refresh with you and also hear your ideas for the future of the group. Stop by, say hello and meet some folks. Don't forget to bring a healthy appetite for coffee-shop sweets, java, and a stack of business cards pass around.

In the next few months, we'll also need your help. We'll have a survey available at the meeting and online to generate some additional interest in Refresh. We're currently looking to fill out meeting schedule up with presenters and discussion panels. If you have an idea, let us know! We're also having discussions concerning future meeting space too. If you or your company would be willing to host a Refresh meeting, drop us a line. These are some of the topics we are interested in hearing about on May 30th.

If you plan on attending on the 30th, please RSVP with your full name and any additional comments to info (at refreshpittburgh.org) before Monday, May 28th so we can have a good idea of the turnout. Also, please forward this e-mail along to anyone who you think may be interested.
